I would've preferred the truth behind Prudence and Patience remain secret for longer, but it's hard for me to disagree with the results. There's been a noticeable change in the tone of people around them, and this should discourage any further kidnapping attempts. And it did bring the most interesting reactions, of course.
How many Megami minds will go in the same direction as Ally's first did? I sincerely wish it was possible for me to bring my people here and start them down this path, though ... I'm still not entirely sure where I am standing on it.
But ... there are far more pressing issues now. Ones that I'm still grappling with.
Adveni magic is certainly far different from anything I have ever experienced before. Erin might be less out of her depth than I am ... or she might not be. In any case, if it's to be believed, this is the thing we've been missing. Or we've at last found the road we'll have to walk down to get to the answer. Kilia traces its calendar back four thousand years, the Adveni trace their own magic back three thousand years ...
Perhaps Kilia lost something itself? They can hardly use staves, that magic is foreign to them whereas it's like finding an orange tree here.
Regardless, if they lost something in trying to practice the magics we have here, it stands to reason that it's the very thing we need to keep the worst from happening. And it makes sense that they would hide this information, Megam had a completely different story it wanted to put to the event.
Just as I don't believe Dragons would smite an entire continent for lack of belief -- Atsiria is as proof of that as anywhere -- I fully believe that human error mixed with politics could create such a situation. It makes sense to me. Now if only we had more in the way of the specifics of how to apply this knowledge.

This is certainly a lot to take in, isn't it?
