I know she's not happy about how events panned out. Not entirely. There is little to be done about it, but I can't help but think that's going to be yet another wall going down the road.
I can't say as I'm especially happy about not being able to bring it back with us. Though the cleared campsite allows us a certain amount of freedom that we would never have had otherwise. It's very ... quiet here.
I haven't found the notes that Lady Lyonesse was interested in yet, but I'm sure it will turn up. Until then...

We're no closer to finding out exactly what we're dealing with, but it's rather obvious that we're going to need a lot of help with it.
The name aurae meant nothing to me until I saw it in person, but what we found deep in the cavern was a giant pillar of it climbing out of unimaginable depths. On the top Erin found the exact runes that were depicted on the map. Nothing more, and nothing less. There is no doubt that this is what we came here to find.
Now, with the area clearly to ourselves, we've nothing left to do but try to figure out what we are truly dealing with.
